FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

EC 261/2004 is a European Union regulation that establishes common rules on compensation and assistance to passengers in the event of denied boarding, flight cancellations, or long delays. It applies to all flights departing from an EU airport, or arriving in the EU on an EU-based airline.
We work on a "no win, no fee" basis. You only pay if we successfully obtain your compensation. Our success fee is 30% of the compensation amount (including VAT). If we don't win, you pay nothing.
You may be eligible if your flight was delayed by 3+ hours, cancelled less than 14 days before departure, or you were denied boarding due to overbooking. The flight must depart from an EU airport or arrive in the EU on an EU carrier. Extraordinary circumstances (severe weather, security threats) may exempt the airline.
Most claims are resolved within 2 to 12 weeks. Some airlines respond quickly while others may require additional negotiation or legal action. We keep you updated throughout the process via your claim tracking dashboard.
Typically, you'll need your boarding pass (or booking confirmation with your name and flight details), a valid ID or passport, and any communication from the airline about the disruption. Our system will tell you exactly which documents are needed based on your airline.
Yes! Under EU regulations, you can claim compensation for flights that occurred up to 3 years ago (in most EU countries). Some countries allow claims going back even further. Our eligibility checker will let you know based on your specific situation.
If an airline refuses to pay, we escalate your claim through official channels and, if necessary, take legal action at no additional cost to you. Our legal team has extensive experience in aviation law and has successfully taken airlines to court on behalf of passengers.
